Thank You for Joining Our Open House
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Osseo Solar open house on May 8. We were pleased to welcome an estimated 75–120 community members for a productive conversation about the project and the opportunity to share questions, feedback, and ideas.
The discussion covered a wide range of topics that are important to the community, including project safety, environmental protections, land use, energy benefits, and site design. Attendees asked thoughtful questions about groundwater and soil protection, panel
durability in severe weather, battery energy storage safety, property values, setbacks, fencing and wildlife considerations, and the potential for agrivoltaics. Community members also expressed interest in learning more about the solar technology proposed
for the project, examples of other solar facilities in Wisconsin, and how the project could serve local energy needs.
We appreciate the strong turnout and the constructive input shared during the event. Feedback from the open house will help inform ongoing project planning, communications, and future website updates, including additional information on key community questions.
We remain committed to continuing an open and transparent dialogue as the Osseo Solar project moves forward.
